What accepting means
One clear step into the final round.
Every invited artist who accepts and completes the $15 payment is confirmed as a finalist. Your submitted work then enters final judging for the Meridian Award, Axis Citations, and Circle Selection.
Finalist status is recognition of advancement, but it does not guarantee an award, citation, Circle Selection, or exhibition placement.
Before you accept

Use the same email.
Enter the email address used for your original application so Meridian can match your payment to your work.

Meet your invitation deadline.
Complete your acceptance and the $15 finalist payment by the 2nd of the month following the competition deadline. Your invitation email confirms the applicable deadline; invitations not completed by that date may expire.

Review the terms.
The fee is generally non-refundable after payment and the start of final judging. Review the complete terms before continuing.

You may simply decline.
You will not be charged, and your work will not enter final judging. If your invitation email asks you to confirm your decision, use the decline option provided there.
