What happens next

For now, your part is complete.

Meridian will review preliminary entries after the call closes. There is no payment required unless you are invited to advance and choose to accept your finalist place.

  1. 01

    Keep your confirmation.

Save the confirmation email from Fillout for your records. It may contain a copy of your responses.

  2. 02

    Preliminary review begins.

After the deadline, submitted work is reviewed for advancement to the finalist round.

  3. 03

    Watch for an invitation.

If your work advances, Meridian will email the address used on your application with the finalist details.

  4. 04

    Accept only if invited.

Every invited artist who accepts and pays the one-time $15 finalist fee is confirmed as a finalist and enters final judging.

A quick note

Please do not submit the same application again.

Only resubmit if Meridian asks you to correct your entry. Check your spam or promotions folder so you do not miss an invitation. If you entered incorrect information, contact us and include the competition name and the email used to apply.

About finalist status

Finalist is a round, not an award.

Confirmed finalists enter the final judging round. Finalist status does not guarantee the Meridian Award, an Axis Citation, or Circle Selection.
